Principal's Message

Happy New Year to our Students, Families, and Community Members,

As we transition into 2026 and begin the second semester, I want to express what a profound honor it is to serve the Waikele Elementary School community.

I am continually inspired by the strength of our Waikele ‘ohana. Our dedicated staff, engaged families, and supportive community partners remain steadfast in keeping student success at the heart of our mission. Through rigorous, standards-based curriculum and dynamic project-based learning, we are witnessing our students persevere and grow into collaborative, creative thinkers, and problem solvers. Our commitment to provide exposure to career and college experiences supports students in finding their passion and has served as an inspiration to both our students and community members.

This year, we remain united under the theme Inspire to Elevate (I2E), which reinforces our collective focus on growth, excellence, and shared success. By embracing a growth mindset and practicing reflective optimism, we will continue to Hoʻoulu i ka nuʻu—to inspire and grow toward the highest.

It is because of the strength of our ‘ohana that I am certain Waikele Elementary will continue to be a place where we take care of each other and Together We Aim Higher.  I look forward to a spectacular second semester.
