Principal's Message

Aloha Waikele Elementary School Ohana,

Welcome Back!  Thank you so much for all of your support and cooperation as we started our first week of school! All of you are doing a great job in coming to school!

Here are a few reminders we need everyone to follow to ensure a safe school environment:

1. There should be no parents going up to the second floor of Hale Ilima (Bldg. D) and Hale Aloalo (Bldg. E)

2. Parents/Guardians, at the end of the day please wait in the area between the bicycle rack and the front office entrance or the flagpole area no sooner than 1:50pm, if walking your child off campus. 

• Only school faculty and staff should be on the campus

3. Students arriving after 7:55 a.m. must report to Hale Hoʻoulu, our front office, for a tardy pass. A reason must be provided, and tardies without a doctor’s note will be unexcused. For safety, staff will escort students from the office to their classroom building.
   

4. The deadline to submit bus applications is this Friday, August 7.  Applications are available in the school office.
   

5. Please continue to look through the Parent Handbook for more useful information regarding school rules and procedures.
