Academy Pathway Program
Our Academy Pathway (AP) program fully integrates career and technical education into our school design. The intentional alignment to Hawaii’s Career Pathway Program provides students with college and career learning experiences through elective courses typically reserved for secondary level students. The AP program is centered on exposure, exploration, and discovery, to spark and shape our students' passion" to align with the Waipahu Complex Pre-Academy alignment. Student voice is clearly evident, as students select to join one of the relevant, innovative classes based on their interests and aspirations. Students take the RIASEC test to help determine their strengths and areas of interests, and a career fair is held to expose students to a variety of career options. This unique AP program features multi-age classes, which provides equity and access to each student and advances our mission by supporting our school's vision.
